Krystina's birthday!

Our Big 4 year old! I can't believe how fast she is growing up or how big of a ham she is. Sometimes I see how much she is just like me when I was her age.

Today is Krystina's 4th birthday... I can't believe that she is 4. So much has happened in the last 18 months. We have had the priviledge of watching her grow up, watching her learn and thrive. Last night we made her annual birthday cupcakes together... BIG MESS, but worth every bit of cleanup. Last night Grant told me he doesn't know what he loves more, the way I light her up or the way she lights me up. I have always wanted to be a mother, she has completed that in my life. Grant has training all week in Torrence so it's just little one and I but this morning was his last morning home (I am glad he was there when she got up) so I got up, made sure he was up and made BIRTHDAY PANCAKES! She was so excited! She was actually up at 5:45 (NEVER UP before 6:15) and was all smiles for her birthday. We took cupcakes to school for her and her little friends, I think she said the word cupcake no less than 2 dozen times before we left for school as if I could actually forget them! I did forget my coffee but that is because I didn't have a 4 year old parrot reminding me every 35 seconds to grab it. Tonight is her birthday dinner... Mexican food per her request. Grant bought her a tball set so she could play baseball with daddy... she is going to love it. He is the best daddy in the world and I am so proud of him.
